Mortar Crossfit cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal items left in the gym, in the bathroom or building, or in a car parked on our premises. Our Lost and Found is currently located on top of our cubby spaces. Items left out on the gym floor due to forgetfulness will be placed here, to the limit of capacity, at which time they will be donated or thrown away. Check the Lost and Found!!
We are happy to have your children, who are of age to be left unsupervised, hang out in our lobby area while parents attend workouts. For the safety of your children and our athletes, children will not be permitted on the gym floor while class is in session. Children may check out the gym before or after class if they are being supervised by their adult. The adults are also responsible for making sure the area their child was occupying is picked up before leaving the gym.
We are focused on building a strong community of athletes that support and respect each other, and our gym, at Mortar Crossfit , therefore we respectfully ask you to:
-Leave negativity at the door. We are happy to address any issues that you may have and work towards helping you solve them before or after workout. During class we want positive focused effort to be the standard.
-Introduce yourself! Everyone knows that it is hard to be the new kid. Veteran members please make new members feel welcome and new members please take initiative to get to know us!
-Pick up after yourselves! That means putting equipment away after a workout and not leaving your belongings laying around in the lobby as well! Everyone doing their part will go a long way in keeping our gym looking top notch.
-Do your best to wipe down your equipment after a workout, particularly if you crushed it and got everything sweaty , which we know happens EVERY workout.
-We love to have our athletes cheer each other on until the very last minute has ticked off the clock. Please refrain from unloading your bars and putting away equipment until all of our athletes have finished the workout. It's all about support and encouragement!
-If you see any issues please bring them to our attention! From running out of toilet paper in the bathroom to broken equipment to a disrespectful athlete. We can't solve problems if we don't know they exist!
-Work HARD! Give your best effort, count all the reps, work until the clock stops, support each other and make each workout worth your time! You only get out of it what you put into it! Most importantly have FUN!
